Introducing An Iranian Research Scientist Associate and an Artist, Saideh Ajami
Saideh Ajami is a research scientist associate and an artist who is born in Esfahan, Iran.
Esfahan, is one of the cultural and historical city in IRAN which is on the UNESCO world heritage list as one of the creative city of crafts and folk Art.
Saideh ajami grew up in a traditional, academic and artistic family. She started oil color painting when she was in junior high school.
After her graduation from high school majoring in natural sciences in Esfahan, she was accepted at the university of Texas at Austin in the college of natural sciences majoring in biology and pre- med.
While she was doing her studies at the university, she was doing research as a research associate in the chemistry department in the chemistry and biochemistry laboratories, at U.T. Austin. There, she dlscovered a new muscle protein called Nebulin.
She graduated with a total of 162 credit hours of undergraduate And graduate courses.
After her graduation from the university, she was offered a position as a Research scientist associate at the university of California at Berkeley in the department of microbiology and Immunology and a cancer research and biochemistry laboratories. There she also discovered a new antibody against cancer.
After that, she started doing research as a Research Scientist Associate at the George Washington university research hospital medical center in the chemistry and biochemistry and molecular biology laboratories, in Washington D. C.
Then she also started her research at George Washington university as a Research Scientist Associate in the department of microbiology, Immunology and tropical medicine laboratories, in Washington D.C.
The conclusions of her scientific research in chemistry, biochemistry, Cancer Research, Molecular Biology Microbiology, Immunology and Tropical Medicine laboratories, she published 3-6 research scientific publications.
Saideh Ajami always loved art paintings and besides of her Academic profession as a Research Scientist Associate she continued her art work and as of today still is continuing her art work.
Her paintings are oil colors, water colors and Acrylic color paintings.
Majorities of her paintings are Realistic and some are surrealistic.
She knows three languages, Persian, English and French.
She has had some national and international exhibitions total in art galleries.

The first one was a "solo exhibition" in July 2017,which was in the Professor Patricia M. Baranek’s house, four of her brilliant artworks were sold to;
1)The painting’s Flowers was sold to Professor Alison Fleming from the University of Toronto
2) The painting’s Winter Trees was sold to Professor Jennifer Jenkins who is the Atkinson Chair of Early Child Development and Education and Director of the Atkinson Centre and Director of Academic Programs at the University of Toronto
3) Painting’s New Year Drummers was sold to Professor Bernard B. Schiff who is a Psychiatry from University of Toronto, Researcher on brain and behaviour
4) Painting’s Sparrows was sold to Professor Patricia M. Baranek from University of Toronto
The second exhibition was held at the Toronto Center for the arts in Tirgan Nowruz festival on March 9-11, 2018 in Toronto.
The third was a solo exhibition was held at Innis College, U of T on June 26, 2018, through her sister Professor Narges Ajami.
The fourth one was held through her sister from August 1-10, 2018 in the Show Gallery at 978 Queen street west, Toronto.
This one was a solo exhibition, during this event, on August 8, 2018, Mr Ali Ehsassi, the Iranian parliament member, visited her exhibition and gave her a certificate of appreciation for her excellent display of original Iranian culture paintings.
The fifth exhibition of her was held (During August-September 15, 2018) at 198 McCaul Street, Toronto, Canada. This was a solo exhibition too.
The Sexth exhibition of her was held at Negarkhaneh Honar in City center in Esfahan, Iran from October 31, 2018 until November 6, 2018. It was group exhibition.
The seventh exhibition of her was held at Negahno in Esfahan, Iran from April 26 to 30, 2019. It was group exhibition.
The eighth exhibition will be held at Innis College, U of T on June 26, 2019 from 12 to 4 PM at 2 Suusex Ave. Toronto.
The ninth solo exhibition will be held on August 1-10, 2018 in the Show Gallery at 978 Queen street west, Toronto.

سعیده عجمی یک محقق دانشیار، دانشمند و هنرمند است او در اصفهان، ایران متوّلد شده است. اصفهان از جمله شهرهای فرهنگی و تاریخی در ایران است که یونسکو آن را فهرست خود به عنوان شهر صنایع دستی و هنرهای مردمی نام برده است.
سعیده عجمی در یک خانوادة دانشگاهی و هنرمند بزرگ شده است. استعداد او در هنر نقاشی از زمانی که او در سالهای اول دبیرستان بوده مشخص شد. وی پس از فارغ التحصیلی از دبیرستان در رشته علوم طبیعی در اصفهان در دانشگاه آستین در ایالت تکزاس در آمریکا پذیرفته شد.
او در رشته زیست شناسی و رشتة پیش پزشکی جمعاً با 162 واحد لیسانس و فوق لیسانس فارغ التحصیل شد.
در همان زمان در دانشگاه آستین تکزاس به عنوان دانشیار و محقق در مرکز گروه آزمایشگاهی شیمی و بیوشیمی تحقیقات خود را انجام میداده است که در آنجا موفق به کشف یک پروتئین عضلانی جدید به نام نبیولین شد.
بعد از فارغ التحصیلی از دانشگاه آستین به عنوان محقق دانشیار و دانشمند در دانشگاه بِرِکلی در ایالت کالیفرنیا آمریکا مشغول به تحقیقات شد در آزمایشگاه های میکروبیولوژی، ایمینولوژی، شیمی، بیوشیمی و آزمایشگاه سرطان شناسی شد و موفق به کشف آنتی بادی ضد سرطان شده است.
سپس در مرکز پزشکی تحقیقاتی دانشگاه جورج واشنگتن در ایالت واشنگتن دیسی در آزمایشگاههای زیست مولکولی، شیمی و بیوشیمی به عنوان محقق دانشیار و دانشمند تحقیقات خود را ادامه داد.
بعد از آن در دانشگاه جورج واشنگتن در واشنگتن دیسی در آزمایشگاههای تحقیقاتی میکروبیولوژی، ایمینولوژی و پزشکی تِراپیکال به عنوان محقق دانشیار و دانشمند تحقیقات خود را ادامه داده است.
نتایج همة تحقیقات و فعالیّتهای پژوهشی علمی وی در طول همة این سالها در آزمایشگاههای شیمی، بیوشیمی، میکروبیولوژی ، ایمینولوژی، سرطان شناسی، زیست مولکولی و پزشکی تراپیکال موفق به چاپ 6-3 مقالة تحقیقاتی علمی شده است.
سعیده عجمی در کنار همة تحقیقات علمی و پژوهشی خود هنر نقّاشی را دوست داشته و ادامه داده است و هنوز هم ادامه میدهد و خواهد داد. ایشان به چندین زبان از جمله زبانهای فارسی، انگلیسی، و فرانسوی تسلّط دارند.
نقّاشیهای وی رئالیستی و برخی آنها سو رئالیستی هستند.
او تا بحال چندین نمایشگاه نقاشی بصورت انفرادی و گروهی در سطح ملی و بین المللی برگزار نموده است.
اولین نمایشگاه وی بصورت انفرادی در تابستان سال 2017 میلادی (21تا24 تیر ماه 1396) در منزل پروفسور پت برانک (Pat Baranek) .
دومین نمایشگاه وی بصورت گروهی در نوروز 1397 در« مرکز تورونتو برای هنر»
(Toronto Center for the arts) در مراسم جشنواره نوروزی تیرگان 1397 برگزار شد.
سومین نمایشگاه ایشان بصورت انفرادی در 26 جون2018 (پنجم تیر ماه 1397) در دانشکده Innis برگزار شد.

پنجمین نمایشگاه وی بصورت انفرادی از پانزدهم آگوست تا پانزدهم سپتامبر 2018(24 مرداد تا 24 شهریور 1397) در گالری مک کال در دان تان تورونتو و در جوار گالری هنر آنتاریو AGO برگزار شد.

ششمین نمایشگاه بصورت گروهی وی در اصفهان در نگارخانه هنر واقع در سیتی سنتر 9 آبان تا 15 آبان 1397 برگزار شد.
هفتمین نمایشگاه گروهی وی در اصفهان در در گالری نگاه نو از 6 تا 10 اردیبهشت ماه 1398 برگزار گردید.
هشتمین نمایشگاه گروهی وی در دانشکده Innis دانشگاه تورونتو در 9 تیر ماه 1398 از ساعت 12 تا 4 بعدازظهر ارائه خواهد شد.
نهمین نمایشگاه انفرادی وی از 10 تا 16 مرداد ماه در شو گالری خیابان کویین وست شماره 978 تورونتو از ساعت 5 تا 9 شب برگزار خواهد شد.
